ON SITE MAKEUP POLICIES

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Clients agree to comply with the payment provisions, including fees for Shanney's services, travel, and parking at the location or nearest hotel. Please note that metered street parking and distant parking structures are not viable options for parking.

  • All makeup applications include a full face with the option of lashes (if desired). Please note that Shanney does not provide special effects makeup.

  • Clients with any of the following contraindications cannot receive service: freshly done microblading/ombré powder brows within 2 weeks, herpes, cold sores, open sores, warts, bleeding, any other transmitted diseases, contagious diseases, sickness, skin conditions, allergies/sensitivities to products, recent facial piercings, etc. Any concerns must be addressed before booking.

  • Clients agree not to touch or use Shanney Thich's products and work materials without permission. Any damages incurred will be reimbursed by the client at their appropriate value.

  • Last-minute add-ons on the day of the event will be at Shanney Thich's discretion and may incur an extra charge.

  • Any adjustments to makeup look, must be brought to Shanney’s attention prior to appointment end time. If client wants Shanney to make any adjustments past scheduled end time, an additional $25 per 15 min will be added to remaining balance. This overtime charge is contingent upon Shanney's availability and ability to extend her working hours.

  • Day-of-event payments must be made in CASH ONLY, with one full payment in an envelope at the end of services before departure.

  • The Artist's obligation to provide services is subject to the Artist's unavailability due to extreme sickness, accidents, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond their control.

  • Dishonesty regarding eligibility for a lower price by falsely claiming not to be a bride or specific event will lead to the cancellation of the appointment, and the deposit will be forfeited.

  • Shanney Thich reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and terminate the contract or service in case of breach of contract, failure to comply, policy violations, discrimination, harassment, dishonesty, theft, violence, being under the influence, or any other inappropriate behavior.


DEPOSIT POLICY 

  • To secure your appointment, a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required via Zelle. Upon receiving information about the number of services, appointment time, and location, Shanney will calculate the deposit amount for you.

  • The remaining balance must be settled on the day of the appointment before your departure, and it should be made in CASH ONLY.

  • By making the deposit payment, you agree to adhere to all of Shanney's policies. Thank you

RESCHEDULE/CANCELLATION POLICY 

  • On-site bookings, if client needs to cancel or reschedule Shanney’s services for the date booked, please let her know 72 hours ahead of time. The deposit is non-refundable/non-transferable to another booking under no circumstances. A new deposit must be made to reschedule.

  • On day of event if there are less than # of services agreed, full payment is still required. You may replace cancelled client with another client for their time slot & pay the remaining balance.

  • Please be early and do not be late for your service. Shanney may have bookings before and after your appt. 

  • If any client is late and Shanney will not have enough time for appointment, full payment is still required.

LATE POLICY

  • All clients are kindly requested to arrive at least 15 minutes earlier than their scheduled appointment time. This buffer time allows Shanney to maintain a timely and efficient schedule.

  • In the event that a client arrives late and Shanney is still able to accommodate them within the allocated time slot, she will do her best to provide the full range of services as originally planned.

  • However, if the delay results in Shanney having to work past the scheduled end time in order to complete all services, an additional charge of $25 will be applied for every 15 minutes of overtime worked. It is important to note that this additional charge is subject to availability and Shanney's ability to extend her working hours.

APPOINTMENT REMINDERS

  • Kindly provide a designated area for Shanney’s setup, preferably near a window and a table.

  • Ensure everyone in the party is present and ready 15 minutes before their scheduled time to maintain a smooth flow.

  • Input names into the timeline to ensure everyone has a scheduled time and arrives early.

  • Please arrange separate hair appointments from makeup appointments and coordinate with your hairstylist regarding my timeline.

  • All participants should arrive with a clean face, no SPF sunscreen, and a makeup look in mind. Exfoliate skin the day before. Bridesmaids should have a cohesive look distinct from the bride's style (e.g., neutral, soft glam, matte eyes).

  • Avoid wearing your event outfit during the session to prevent makeup transfer. Opt for a robe or button-up shirt for easy changes.

  • The remaining balance + any parking fees are due in CASH ONLY as a full payment before Shanney’s departure. Gratuity is welcome and appreciated. For group payments, please collect and place the money in an envelope to give to me at the end.

  • Each person should have their own touch-up products for the day (e.g., pressed powder, lash glue, lipstick, gloss) if needed. Feel free to ask for product recommendations if necessary.

  • For room number or last-minute contact, please text the day before the appointment and day of. Feel free to email for any other inquiries. Thank you!

COVID-19 UPDATES/REMINDERS

  • For your safety and the safety of others, please inform Shanney ahead of time if you have recently traveled, been sick, or had contact with anyone who might have been exposed to Covid-19. Prior to the appointment, a 2-week (14-day) quarantine period is required.

  • As a licensed esthetician, Shanney follows strict sanitation procedures to ensure the well-being of her clients.

  • If you experience any symptoms of illness on the day of the appointment, please notify Shanney immediately. Unfortunately, the makeup service will not proceed in such cases. The deposit is non-refundable, but you have the option to replace your appointment slot with another person. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in these Covid-19 related measures.
